What is Theme Park Reader?

Theme Park Reader is your be-all and end-all for theme park publications! Not only do we offer an extensive catalog of books that feature the Disney Parks, Universal Studios and other famous theme parks around the world, but you can find travel and reading tips on our blog and purchase select rare and out-of-print books on our eBay store. We hope this website will make your next theme park trip even more memorable!

Why don’t you cover every theme park?

Despite our name, we choose to focus heavily on the Disney and Universal Parks because they’re at the top of the theme park industry. You can also find select titles and blog posts about other famous (and not-so-famous) parks around the world, including Legoland, Six Flags, and more. If you want to see a particular theme park highlighted or have book titles to recommend, drop us a line!

Your catalog is confusing! How do I find the title I want?

We’ve organized our titles by theme park, then subject, then theme park again. For example, if you’re looking for Pam Brandon’s newest Disney Parks cookbook, you can find that under Disney Parks Books > Cookbooks > General Cookbooks. If you want to compare upcoming travel guides for Walt Disney World, try Disney Parks Books > Travel Guides > Walt Disney World Travel Guides. Our catalog is for informational purposes only, so you won’t find links to purchase the titles on Amazon, Book Depository or eBay. However, we hope that by giving you the book cover, title and author name(s), you’ll have enough information to search it out!

Why don’t you have the title I’m looking for?

We’d be happy to help you search through our database to find the title you need. If you still can’t find the theme park book you’re looking for, there’s a chance we may not know about it! Please send us the book cover, title and author name(s) so we can add it to our catalog.

Can I write for Theme Park Reader?

We would love to feature your book reviews, top 10 lists, recipes and travel tips for our fellow theme park readers! However, we are currently unable to compensate any additional writers and refuse to solicit or accept unpaid labor of any kind. Should our budget expand in the future, we will have an open call for writers listed on our contact page.

Are you affiliated with any theme park?

Theme Park Reader is not, and never has been, affiliated with the Disney Parks, Universal Studios or any other theme park.
